If you are interested in becoming a VOLUNTEER COACH for the upcoming 2023 Cresskill Alpine Baseball / Softball / Kickball season, please use the following as a guide.
I understand that our practice and game schedules are important to evaluate if you have the time to volunteer but unfortunately, we will not have a final schedule until near/after the season starts due to the many variables involved including identifying and confirming the head coaches and their own schedules. We will be sending out a schedule once we have everything finalized, but in the mean time, please review the information below and start the process of becoming a registered VOLUNTEER COACH.
In order to become a VOLUNTEER COACH, we need the following items submitted, and please utilize this as it is the most recent and up-to-date document regarding what is necessary to be CERTIFIED (either by email or delivery):
1) All coaches must be certified in the SPORT they will be coaching. You must be certified through NAYS or RUTGERS,
If you have not contacted us already, and believe you are certified just email us and we will check your current status.
2) All coaches must have a fingerprinted or certified background check,
If you have not contacted us already, and believe you have had your background checked just email us and we will check your current status.
3) Complete an on-line NAYS concussion awareness course, and
Will need to email ([email protected]) or print out a copy of the certificate you will receive and get it to our office
4) Complete an on-line course on “Protecting Children from Abuse.”
This is a new addition and something we are being asked to do by our insurance provider at this time, and will take approximately 20 minutes to watch the video and CONFIRM you watched.

Please make sure once you complete this process to just email our office, so we can certify you as a VOLUNTEER COACH. Again, we really appreciate you taking the time out of your schedules to be willing to help us and support our programs. It does not get lost and we truly want you to know how much we thank you for even being willing to help us, and going above and beyond.
