SIGN-UP NOW!!! Summer Travel Baseball & Softball

Hello Parents,

You need to GO SIGN-UP NOW!!

Cresskill Alpine Baseball & Softball is now taking indications of interest for its Summer Travel Baseball and Softball programs.

The purpose of the travel program is to provide a more competitive environment to further develop the baseball/softball knowledge and skills of the more highly skilled players. These teams will represent Cresskill Alpine Baseball/Softball League in competitive play against other towns within the NEBAS League (baseball) and Kinderkamack Softball League. If the number of interested players is high at each level and there are enough volunteer coaches, the travel teams will be formed based on an open tryout. Baseball age groups will begin at 9U (3rd grade) and Softball age groups will begin above 1st grade.

All candidate players must also participate on a team in the Cresskill Alpine Baseball/Softball Recreation Program during the Spring season. Teams typically play anywhere between 10-15 games and will likely carry no more than 12 players.

League play for the summer season is expected to be June 12th to July 15th. If a team qualifies for the playoffs, then there will be an additional two weeks of play with all playoff games to be completed by July 29th. There will be 2 games per week during the season plus practice (1 to 2 practices per week). There is an additional fee for summer travel determined by the number of players that participate per team. The estimated cost of the summer travel program, yet to be fully determined, will be approximately $125 -$175 per player and will include (registration fee with respective league, insurance, cost of umpires, team baseballs, game jersey and hat, etc.)

If Summer Travel Baseball/Softball is something, you think your child would be interested in committing to during June and July please go to the Cresskill-Alpine Baseball/Softball League registration website (www.cresskillalpinebaseball.com) to register your child for summer travel baseball or softball by Friday May 19th. This registration step is only a pre-indication of interest and final registration will occur once teams are determined. CABL will need to gauge interest in order to submit a commitment form to the league. Rosters need to be submitted to the League by May 30th.
